Refused file!

Hi guys. I sent the file "375 cut w spacers.dxf" to a laser cutting company in my city, but the engineering department refused it and demanded the drawings with the actual measurements.

They claim to be unsure if the pieces will come out in the correct size if they use the file without any reference.

Has anyone ever had problems like this?

Ronnie - I have not had an issue like that in the past (but I load my own files on the water jet) Do they want every part fully dimensioned or just a single reference dimension?

There have been a couple of errors found in parts 207 and 208. I've made fixes and once I verify another possible change, I'll send the new files to Dan.

Thanks
Steve

Hi, Steve.

They want every single part fully dimensioned.

That is a ton of work. Do you have any CAD experience?

No, but I have a lot of experience discarding service providers. I'm going to look for another company.

They all cut fine at my end. I used a Plasma CNC so I had to grind some corners and such to make it all fit, but the files are good.
