Threaded vs Through holes

Post by GUnner279 » Mon Jul 17, 2017 10:50 am

I downloaded the CAD files but there is no indication whether the holes are threaded or through holes.

Thanks

Yes, I intentionally left most of the details out of the cut drawings. All comments will have to be stripped by the cutting service so it's quite bare.

This is the tap chart for the DC1 both 10" and 11" models.

These will be included in the assembly instructions.

Part 207 shows two through holes for attaching to frame plates - one per plate. The pictures show four through holes - two per plate - in the assembly instructions. Compare to part 208. I posted a clarification thread about this in 'Improvement Suggestions.'

Thanks Nick,

In the prototype I had four mounting holes for part 207. However due to the nearly impossible position of the upper holes for tapping, two of these holes were removed and the remaining two were put in the middle of the piece on the released drawing.
