Awesome setup and great to see another Aussie build. Mine is still a WIP. One thing I see may be problem with yours is your tracking wheel doesn't appear to be crowned based on what I can see in the photo. It may present as an issue moving forward, same for the drive wheel, but please keep us update...

There is no right or wrong way in this regard. There are plenty of options available to you. Some designs include a rotating platen wheel which has a number of other wheel sizes on it. This provides the flexibility you're talking about. If you come up with modification to the plan to allow this, fee...

The parts look great! 8-) Looks like you have multiple options for the spacers (steel and aluminum). Were they able to jet the part with the two holes and the angled cuts to the long edge. If so, that is awesome as making that cut with a bandsaw sucked. Yeah all the alloy was water jet. No bandsaw ...

Locally as in the US? I paid $970 for mine to be water jet and laser cut. I got another quote for $750, but took weeks to get back and I'd rather support a business that offers impeccable service over cheaper price.
