Ronnie - I have not had an issue like that in the past (but I load my own files on the water jet) Do they want every part fully dimensioned or just a single reference dimension? There have been a couple of errors found in parts 207 and 208. I've made fixes and once I verify another possible change,...

Hi Ronie, I was able to send the files by email to the fabricator and they had no issues with the sizing. Of course if they say the grinder is going to be 3 cm x 1.5 cm that should be an alarm bell. Refused file!

Hi guys. I sent the file "375 cut w spacers.dxf" to a laser cutting company in my city, but the engineering department refused it and demanded the drawings with the actual measurements. They claim to be unsure if the pieces will come out in the correct size if they use the file without any reference...

The Brazilian standard requires the IEC, but I have also found the NEMA standard for sale on some sites.

I am Ronie, an amateur knife maker trying to build my own belt grinder.

Thanks for sharing the info.

I would like to know if the pieces in the CAD project are in actual size and I could to email the dxf file to order the laser cutting without any corrections.
