Sounds very much like the motor is wired for 460 V. Check the wiring is for 230 V. This will be on the motor nameplate or a wiring diagram should be attached to the motor.

Hi Igor,
Welcome. I would suggest looking for a fabrication shop that has a laser as an alternative to water jet. Compare the costs. Anecdotally, laser has been cheaper than water jet.

Hi Mauricio, The Sayber (like many Wilmont TAG, Reeder, Northridge Tool etc.) requires a face mounted motor. Your motor is better suited for a foot mounted application. Steel will give you more mass and dampen any small vibrations better. Steel will also give a better hold for tapped threads.

In my case, at the local metal supermarket, aluminum was cheaper than steel.
